MV DUHALLOW
MV Duhallow [transiting through Burrard Inlet]
Wednesday, June 6, 1974
CVA 447-4324
Hain-Nourse’s 25,400-ton bulk carrier Duhallow is pictured transiting east through Burrard Inlet to Port Moody where she would take on a load of coal destined for Japan.
From 1972 until 1975, the Duhallow was one of two to three Hain-Nourse bulk carriers calling at Deception Bay, QC over the short Arctic shipping season to transport asbestos concentrate across the Atlantic to Germany.
